THE 35 COMPETITION

HC Rotterdam has had a 35 competition since 2012: HCR Sevens. The Sevens competition is the hockey club competition that connects seniors, is unique of its kind in the Netherlands and has proven to be an unprecedented success. The games are played in teams of seven, with the teams competing against each other on half a field every other week on Friday evening.

The women's and men's competitions play with adjusted rules: there are no goalkeepers or referees, the match lasts 30 minutes and each team plays two matches per evening.

Sevens consists of approximately 300 enthusiastic members who play in this competition and we would like to welcome even more 35 hockey players who want to be on the hockey field once every two weeks on Friday evenings. The competition is open to everyone and the participants come from the entire region, from The Hague to Hoeksche Waard. Click here for an impression.

The matches start at 8:30 PM and after the matches there will of course be plenty of opportunity for a snack and a drink in the clubhouse. The Sevens competition actually combines the best of both worlds; play hard, party hard!Do you want to participate in this competition? Then complete the registration form and select 'Sevens' as the membership type. If you would like to be placed with a specific team, you can indicate this on the form. If you want to register an entire team, that is of course also possible. This is only possible if the team consists of at least 10 people. If there are less than 10 people, we will look at which other teams can use people or at options to supplement the team with at least 10 people. If you are already a member of HC Rotterdam, you can of course also participate in this competition! You can then register by sending an email to [email protected]. We will then look at the possibilities together.

Contribution

If you are already a member of HC Rotterdam and, for example, play trim hockey or Sunday competition, you only pay for the most expensive membership. Are you not yet a member of HC Rotterdam? The current contribution can be found on the club's website. No registration fee is charged for new senior members at HC Rotterdam.
